Barsotti Disclosure Regarding Human Trafficking and Anti-Slavery

 

Barsotti Family Juice Company (BFJC) is committed to conducting its business in a lawful
and ethical manner. Barsotti Family Juice Company expects that its vendors also conduct
themselves in such a manner. Barsotti Family Juice Company has implemented various
policies and procedures in an attempt to prevent human trafficking and slavery in its
supply chains. Underlying policies and Procedures include but are not limited to:

  • Internally abiding by State of California Labor Code
  • Purchasing only from Vendors located within Tier 1 Countries as currently updated
    by United States Department of Labor: Exhibit A
  • Requesting BFJC vendors abide by their local regulatory labor codes. Exhibit B

Barsotti Family Juice Company conducts risk assessment / verification process which
evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery in its supply chains. The
verification is not conducted by a third party but rather relies on vendor self-
certification.

Barsotti Family Juice Company does not currently conduct audits of its vendors to
monitor vendors' ongoing compliance with Barsotti Family Juice Company policy.
Barsotti Family Juice Company requires vendors certify that materials incorporated into
their product comply with the laws regarding human trafficking and slavery of the
countries in which they are doing business.

Barsotti Family Juice Company does not currently provide training on human trafficking
and slavery for company employees and management who have direct responsibility for
supply chain management.

Barsotti Family Juice Company, through its owner’s participation in local philanthropy,
assist a local not for profit organization’s awareness training and victim assistance
programs.

Barsotti Family Juice Company’s managerial staff is awareness trained.

Barsotti Family Juice Company will maintain internal accountability standards and
procedures for employees or vendors failing to meet company standards regarding
human trafficking and slavery.
